Established in 2006, SEAMAR s.c. is a licensed recruitment agency providing crews to ships operated by foreign companies, one acting also as a full-scope crew management to some of them.
Owing to our many years’ contacts and cooperation with a network of foreign subagents in the neighbouring countries in Eastern Europe, we successfully arrange the shipboard employment of seamen, besides Polish officers and ratings, from the countries of this region.
The types of ships to which we provide the international crew complements range from coasters through small multi-purpose double-deckers, (semi)container ships and regular boxships, ro-pax and car carriers to big-sized bulkers (up to 180,000 dwt).
Our clients are German and Danish companies – all of them highly credible organisations offering good working conditions and good wages.
We are open to any proposals and will welcome an opportunity of co-operating with new employers offering jobs to seamen from Central and Eastern Europe.
Our scope of services comprises our offering free recruitment services to seamen along with our taking an earnest care of the seamen employed via our agency during the period of their service at sea.
In the event of our receiving claims or complaints, reminders, queries from the seamen, or their families, relating to these seamen’s employment, we carefully consider the relevant issues and take proper steps.
Obviously, we will be only too glad to receive application forms from any duly qualified persons, of any nationality, being interested in getting satisfying jobs at sea with our aid.
OUR BRANCH OFFICES IN UKRAINE
Beginning from 1st July 2019, the ship-owning companies using our services may source qualified seamen from Ukraine via our upgraded structure in that country: the Seamar Ukraine Ltd offices in Kherson and Kiev (www.seamar.com.ua) are now fully operative and ready to preselect the best officers and ratings in their area. The offices’ activities are in every respect compliant with Seamar’s procedures and standards.
